New-York based retro-pop duo FlyByMidnight has selected charity group Musicians On Call as one of the beneficiaries of YesStyle’s 12th Anniversary Charity Campaign. From July 5 to July 6, YesStyle will donate US$1 for every order placed at YesStyle.com to Musicians On Call.
To celebrate its 12th anniversary, YesStyle is donating US$1 per order to a different charity each day from July 2 to July 8. Each charity-of-the-day has been selected by a different social media influencer, and the total funds raised will be announced on Facebook and Instagram after the campaign is complete.
FlyByMidnight was formed by vocalist and keyboardist Justin Breit (Bryte) and vocalist and guitarist Justin Slaven (Slavo) in 2015. Following their debut single “Brooklyn,” they released a cover of “We Don’t Talk Anymore” by singer-songwriter Charlie Puth that gathered over 25 million YouTube views.
The duo partnered up with Musicians On Call to perform at the Children’s Hospital of New York in 2017 and was blown away by the love from the kids. “Being in the studio a lot of the time, we forget how much music really touches people,” said Slavo.
“Slavo and I have always wanted to give back to the community and we’re grateful YesStyle has now given us that opportunity. We’re stoked to be a part of YesStyle’s 12th birthday. Plus we love their clothes!” said Justin.
Musicians On Call brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. The nonprofit organization was founded in 1999 by music and entertainment entrepreneurs Michael Solomon and Vivek Tiwary. It has a network of 58 hospital partners and 73 performance programs across the US.
